Microsoft Teams, the company’s new chat-based workspace is now available today in Office 365. As the company announced earlier today during its Office event in New York, IT admins can activate in right now as a part of their company’s Office 365 Business and Enterprise suites, though the new tool will remain in preview for a few more months.
During the preview period, Microsoft Teams will be available in 181 countries and be localized in 18 languages. Additionally, the new service will be powered by datacenters located across Americas, Europe and Asia.
Microsoft Teams will be generally available to Office 365 business users in the first quarter of 2017. Stay tuned on Winbeta to learn more about what is expected to become a key member of Microsoft’s business productivity suite.
