Microsoft Surface Pro tablets could end up in India February 2016

| |

As Surface Pro tablets become ever more popular, pressure intensifies for Microsoft to release the device to markets where it is currently unavailable. India is one such market where citizens have had to resort to paying exorbitant prices to get their hands on the coveted tablet. Now though, it's being reported by WinCentral that the Surface tablet line could be on Indian store shelves in the very near future.
According to the article, Microsoft Stores in India could not only be selling third-party branded tablets but also Surface tablets; as soon as February 2016. This story is further confirmation of a report back in July where Director of the Windows Business Group at Microsoft in India admitted that demand for the Surface tablet was strong. The director also made mention that Microsoft was looking into bringing the device to the country.
It's unknown if the rumored Surface Pro 4 tablet will launch in India around the same time, but we may not have to wait long for details with Microsoft's hardware event less than 24 hours away. Per usual, we will keep you up to date on any Surface news from that Microsoft event tomorrow.
