Surface 2 apparently selling like ‘hotcakes’, Surface Pro 2 128GB already sold out

Microsoft's Surface Pro 2 128GB out of stock

If you’re still negotiating with yourself whether to get the Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2, you better start thinking fast. Microsoft is reporting that these devices are selling like “hotcakes”. They have also reported that the Surface 2 (64 GB) and that Surface Pro 2 (256 GB and 512 GB) are “close to selling out.”

Although General Manger for Surface, Brian Hall, stated three days ago that “pre-order stock of the Surface 2 (64 GB) and Surface Pro 2 (256 GB and 512 GB) are close to selling out,” it seems they were either wrong or the models have yet to be out of stock. The Surface Pro 2 (128 GB), however, is now out of stock from the Microsoft online store.

The Surface 2 and Surface 2 Pro tablets are the second generation tablets of Microsoft’s Surface lineup. These new devices come with improved battery life (75% more efficient compared to Surface RT), better resolution, less weight, and a new two-position kickstand.

The Touch Cover 2, and the Type Cover 2, which were also revealed at Microsoft’s Surface 2 keynote, are back-wards compatible with the old-generation Surfaces. They are now thinner, lighter, and include backlit keys. There has also been many new accessories, visit this link to see the whole lineup.

If you’re also wondering about the new Surface accessories, you’re out of luck if you’re currently residing in the US. Microsoft’s Arc Touch Mouse, Type 2 Cover (purple and black) and Touch Cover 2 have already been listed as ‘sold out’.

With all these new features and specifications, Microsoft is hoping that the end user will have a greater and better experience.

But it’s not like the world is going to end if you don’t get to pick what you want, right? Head over here and reserve yours now before it’s too late, or else the world will in fact end for you.
