The back-to-school season is in full swing and students everywhere are hungry for their next technology-related purchase. Whether it’s for a brand new Windows PC, a Surface Pro 3, accessories, software, and no-contract Windows Phone devices, Microsoft’s retail store has you covered with a special 10% discount.
Starting now and ending January of 2015, Microsoft Stores across the nation (and Canada) are offering a 10% discount to students, educators, and staff members. This means you can get a 10% discount on the brand new Surface Pro 3, which we’ve mentioned before, as well as various Windows PCs and accessories.
Aside from a new computer, you can also get 10% off Office Home & Student 2013, as well as 10% off the brand new Wedge Mobile Keyboard. Need to upgrade to Windows 8.1 Pro? You can snag a 10% discount on Windows 8.1 Pro for Students.
“We know technology is an important part of any educational experience, so we’re pleased to offer a 10% discount to students and the people who support them. (That might be you!) Come visit us today to save on some of our favorite products,” the Microsoft Store stated.
The special offer, unfortunately, excludes Xbox One consoles, Xbox 360 consoles, Xbox Live, Xbox games, Windows Phone devices with contract, gift cards, and volume licensing.
“Only available to K-12, higher education students, parents purchasing on behalf of students, education institution employees, faculty, staff, school board and PTA/PTO executives for K-12 and higher education institutions. Institutions are not eligible for this offer. Some purchases are only available for higher education students, and may require additional eligibility verification and confirmation at checkout to complete your order,” the fine print reads.
Head over to your local Microsoft Store before school starts and get your 10% discount!Further reading: Microsoft, Microsoft Store, Surface Pro 3
