Earlier this month, Microsoft published a video showcasing DirectX 12 and the impact it has on Windows gaming. That video was eventually pulled and republished today during Build 2016, showcasing how Windows 10 is the best Windows ever for gaming — at least according to Microsoft. In the video, Microsoft showcases how DirectX 12 offers unparalleled graphic fidelity” and “up to 20% increase in GPU performance” as well as “up to 50% improvement in overall CPU usage.” These are definitely some amazing improvements.

For those that did not know, DirecX is a collection of APIs designed to help Windows run multimedia content as efficiently as possible.
