Microsoft seeks developers, shows off how to port iOS and Android apps to Windows Phone
It’s no secret that Windows Phone lags behind in the mobile market. The platform is making strides, and has moved ahead of Blackberry, but it remains well behind both Apple and Google in this race. One of the primary reason is apps, or lack of them.
Now Microsoft is attempting to woo developers to port their Android and iOS apps over to Windows Phone. The company is attempting to make this process as easy as possible, now releasing two detailed videos on the steps involved. One video is dedicated to each of the rival platforms.
Microsoft produced the videos through a “partnership with Support Escalation Engineers in CSS, ECO Solution Asset Video Team, DPE and Channel 9 for making this great content”. You can watch both by following the link below. The videos are each just over 23 minutes in length.Further reading: Microsoft, Windows Phone
