Microsoft rolls out updated OneNote app for iPad, iPhone and Android
Microsoft has rolled out a new update to its OneNote app for Apple’s iPad and iPhone, along with an update for Google’s Android platform. Microsoft has improved the OneNote app by adding features based on user feedback.
“Today we are proud to announce the new versions of OneNote on iPad, iPhone and Android. Internally, we have been calling them version 2, and we think you are going love all of the new features and functionality available in these updates. A lot of the features are based on your feedback and we look forward to seeing what you have to say about this update,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.
This new update makes the OneNote app’s formatting look exactly the same across all devices. This includes text formatting, tables with shading and borders, layout and more. Microsoft is also offering a rich set of formatting options to customize notes your way. OneNote also allows you to have multiple people edit a note at the same time and see changes instantly. The OneNote app can now access your notebooks on SharePoint, Office 365 and SkyDrive Pro, as well as search across all your notes.
