Windows Insider chief Dona Sarkar let us know on Twitter today that the team is busy and won’t be releasing any new Insider builds today. That hardly means that nobody is getting a new Windows 10 build, however, as Microsoft pushed an update to Redstone 1 Windows 10 PC and phone users on the Release Preview Ring.

We got the news from Windows Central, who speculate that the build is a preview of an upcoming cumulative update for production Windows 10 machines. Therefore, we don’t know for sure what the build offers in the way of fixes and improvements.

If you’re on a Windows 10 Mobile device, then you should be looking for a “Technical Preview for phone” update. PC users will see the update arrive as KB3176938. Windows Central indicates that some Slow Ring Insiders report that they’re receiving the update as well, and so we’ll have to keep our eyes open.

If you’re a Release Preview user (and perhaps a Slow Ring Insider), then go hit that update button. Let us know in the comments if you receive this update and if it’s brought you any happiness.
