Microsoft has announced the availability of an update to its Bing Translator app for Windows Phone. The app allows you to point your phone camera at printed text, such as a street sign, dinner menu, train schedule, or newspaper headline, and translate it from English to another language.
“Now you can take that experience with you as you travel across the globe with the new Translator app for Windows Phone,” Microsoft proudly announced in a new blog post. The update Bing Translator app is available in the Marketplace and allows users to translated printed language simply by pointing the phone’s camera.
