Microsoft has just released an update for PowerToys upping it to version 0.70. The update ships with a couple of new features, as well as the usual fixes and enhancements.
Here’s everything you need to know about this update:
First up, the new update ships with the Mouse Without Borders feature that’s designed to let users interact and engage with multiple PCs using the same keyboard and mouse. What’s more, the feature lets users share clipboards and files between the machines.
It’s also been upgraded to .NET 7 on top of some small adjustments to fit inside the PowerToys model. The new utility further builds on the Mouse Jump utility and enhances navigation across multiple and large screens.
Next up, the update also comes with Peek. A new utility that’s in place to provide users with a quick preview of files selected in File Explorer when you press a shortcut (Ctrl+Space by default).
Additionally, the Registry preview, Awake, and Mouse Jump utilities have all received quality of life improvements to further enhance the tool’s user experience. We invite you to check out the full changelog over at GitHub’s repository for more information pertaining to the fixes.
If you already have PowerToys running on your device, it should automatically notify you of this update. Alternatively, you can get this update today by launching your app, then clicking on General followed by the Check for Updates, and then the Install Now button.
