With Halo 5: Guardians set to launch on October 27th, we have been getting to see more and more live action trailers and commercials to give players a taste for what to expect in the upcoming storyline between Master Chief and Spartan Locke.
But while these cinematic trailers and TV spots focus on the story, they didn’t include gameplay, until now. Xbox uploaded the Halo 5: Launch Gameplay Trailer this morning that gives a short dramatic sense of the single player campaign gameplay and the hunt for Master Chief.
The trailer starts with a mashup of ingame cutscenes, setting the story of Master Chief going rogue of the UNSC command and Spartan Locke destined to reign him in. The trailer then cuts to some quick paced in-game action sequences that show off in-game combat, albeit in an abbreviated, made for short promo spots, fashion. Nonetheless, it is a fun mix of scenes that show off what looks to be like an incredible campaign mode, which will feature a multicharacter single player campaign. Everything from the boost on jet packs to the vehicle combat looks to be shaping up to be an impressive addition to the Halo series.
