Microsoft releases new cumulative update with no changes for Dev Channel Insiders

| |

Following the release of Windows 10 Insider build 21322 in the Dev Channel last week, Microsoft is following up today with a new cumulative update to test its servicing pipeline. Indeed, the Windows Insider team is inviting Dev Channel Insiders to download the just-released cumulative build 21322.1010, which includes no new features compared to last week's flight.

If you didn’t download the build 21322 last week, the new bits brought minor changes to News and interests in the taskbar. This feature has been gradually rolling out to Dev Channel Insiders since launch, but the Windows Insider team chose to reset the rollout of this feature starting with the build 21322. As a result, Insiders who had it before in their taskbar may see it go away after installing the build.

Other changes in the build 21322 included the removal of the 3D Viewer and Paint 3D apps on clean installs, though these two apps will remain available to download from the Microsoft Store. This build also removed the Math Input Panel due to “increasingly low usage,” but the experience will remain available in the OS as an optional feature.

Microsoft usually releases new builds for the Dev Channel on Wednesdays, and we hope that this week will be no exception. The Windows Insider team is also still testing the Windows 10 21H1 update with Insiders in the Beta channel, and a cumulative update was released last week for Patch Tuesday.
