Microsoft releases fix for mouse lag issue when playing games in Windows 8.1

Microsoft recently acknowledged an issue in Windows 8.1 that caused mouse lag while playing some games. Microsoft has finally rolled out a fix for this issue, which is sure to make gamers happy.

“When you play certain desktop games in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2, the mouse pointer may freeze or stutter,” Microsoft stated in an official support website. The reason? “This issue occurs because Windows 8.1 introduced changes to mouse input processing for low latency interaction scenarios.
