Windows Store

For those of you looking for a specific Windows Store app for Windows 8 or Windows RT, for the longest time you would have to actually use the Windows Store app on Windows 8 or simply search Bing or Google for the specific app so you can find the app listing.

Not anymore. It appears that Microsoft very recently launched a new app listing page on the Windows Store website. This new listing page not only offers app details, description, and related app links, but also the ability to search for a specific app.

You can also see app notes right below the screenshots of the app, offering you a quick view of whats new with the app and what has changed. In the past, you would have to click a link to see the release notes.

As McAkins points out, you can only search for a specific app in the Windows Store via this method, but you cannot actually browse the Store. If you havent seen this new option to seach for apps yet, hit the source link below to try it out.
