| |

As Windows 10 gets ready for another major system update, the featured apps are getting some much-needed attention.
Today, the Movies & TV app on Windows 10 for both PC’s and Mobile were updated with some subtle changes. The update brings the apps up to version 3.6.1508.0 and adds:

  • Ssupport for SRT subtitle files
  • An improved offline experience to help users quickly find downloaded content such as movies or tv episodes for offline viewing
  • Personal video folders thumbnails to show the content within each folder

While the update is a relatively minor one, it proves that the Windows team is still hard at work on delivering a more polished experience to users and it's great to see the Windows 10 experience improving bit by bit as features are refined and new functionality is added.
Has your experience with the apps in Windows 10 improved since the launch of the new operating system or are you still experiencing bugs and feeling frustrated by the lack of certain features? Let us know in the comments below.
