It’s the beginning of a new school year and Microsoft has announced the 2017-2018 Microsoft Innovative Educators Experts as well as the year’s Microsoft Showcase Schools.

The Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) program is a collective of educators across the globe. This year they are welcoming over 6,000 new additions. On top of that, Microsoft added 550 new Showcase Schools to extend their reach into education.

This makes a whopping total of 2,200 Microsoft Schools that explore the digital transformation of Microsoft technology into the classroom. Whether it’s by adding the availability of devices or deeper internal structure of OneDrive Class Notebooks, Microsoft’s goals in the development of interactive education continue to thrive exponentially.
