Microsoft Planner iOS app now supports iPads

Laurent Giret

Microsoft Planner, the company’s new task management tool for teams, has just been updated on iOS with iPad support. The new iPad layout introduced in version 1.3.1 puts the bigger screen to good use, and it’s one of those productivity apps that makes perfect sense on tablets. Even better, the app supports Split View multitasking and Slide Over on recent iPads with iOS 11.

Microsoft Planner was released earlier this year on iOS and Android, and it’s nice to be able to use the task manager app on the go. Microsoft still has some work to do catch up to similar services like Trello, but Planner is already a great alternative for Office 365 customers. If you have yet to try it, you can get Microsoft Planner on your iPhone or iPad with the download link below.
