Microsoft Outlook updates on Android smartphones and tablets with new To Do feature

| |

The Microsoft Outlook app updated to Version 4.2104.2 today on supported Android devices. This app update wasn’t a big one but it did add additional support for Microsoft To Do by enabling the addition of the top three tasks a user has from that service to appear within the Search page in Outlook.

Here’s the release notes:

Stay on top of your tasks - now your top 3 tasks are available on the Search home page. Mark them done right in Outlook or tap to manage more tasks in To Do.

While not included in the release notes, this update also appears to have added the option for manual color scheme preferences within the Appearance section of the app’s settings.
