The official Microsoft Outlook app updated to Version 3.23.0 on Apple’s iOS devices today. This latest update doesn’t change much but it does officially announce the launch of support for Siri Shortcuts within the app.
This feature had been spotted by some users since mid-April but the feature now appears ready for everyone. Currently Siri Shortcuts can only be created for checking for the next upcoming calendar event and for notifying people that you’re running late.
To enable and customize Siri Shortcuts for the Outlook app, simply open Settings and tap on Siri Shortcuts.
Here’s the official release notes:
Outlook is teaming up with Siri. Now you can use Siri Shortcuts like “when’s my next meeting” or “I’m running late.”
