The iOS version of the Microsoft Outlook app gained a small but useful new feature when it updated to Version 4.42.1 this week.

This latest update added a new menu option for reporting suspicious or annoying emails as junk so that you’ll get less of them in the future.

Here’s the full release notes:

See something fishy? Report spam and phishing messages to keep your inbox safe. Find the new Report Junk option right where you find other actions like Archive and Delete. Available on Office 365 and accounts.

Feel free to send us any comments or questions by going to Settings > Help & Feedback – we’d love to hear from you.

Do you use Outlook on Android? That version also updated this month.

Do you ever bother reporting spam emails or do you simply block and delete them as quickly as possible? Let us know in the comments below and then follow us on Pinterest for more Microsoft app content.
