Microsoft’s Outlook app updated for both Android and iOS devices today. The iOS update brought the app up to Version 4.2119.0 and added additional functionality for Apple Watch owners while the Android app update brought that version up to 4.2116.3 and implemented additional protection against email spam.

Here’s the full notes for the iOS update:

  • Quickly reply to your emails on your Apple Watch with suggested replies, dictation, or scribble.
  • Feel free to send us any comments or questions through our in-app support in Settings — we’d love to hear from you.

And here’s the update notes for Android:

  • Outlook is making it easier to identify emails from senders outside your organization to protect against spam & phishing threats. If admin configured, there will be a new external label on emails and the sender’s email address can be viewed by tapping the external label at the top of the email.

In addition to the changes mentioned in the two above app updates, the iOS and Android Outlooks apps also received the ability to add floor plans to their workspaces though this extra functionality is apparently rolling out to users gradually.
