While Microsoft and 343 Industries originally planned to release a Halo 5 multiplayer beta on December 29th, it looks like Christmas will come a little early for Xbox One preview members. That is an extra 10 days to play all the available content for Halo 5. Halo 5 early access is invite only, and Xbox One players should receive a message from Xbox Live with two codes needed to get the Halo 5 download. Below is a preview video of Halo 5 Guardians multiplayer beta.
Halo 5 multiplayer access with begin 4PM ET tomorrow (December 19), and end at 3AM ET, December 22nd. It should give Xbox One preview players enough time to use all the new maps, weapons, and Spartan abilities available in Halo 5.
I am interested in the new Smart Scope option that gives you a scope on every weapon in your arsenal. I think it will prove especially useful in multiplayer matches. There is another ability, Ground Pound, which seems to be identical to Destiny’s First of Havoc slam, where you can drop down from the air and attack enemies on the ground. Overall, I think Halo 5 will be a great game worth checking out. Hopefully, Halo 5 can bring back the magic that helped the first Halo be such a great game.
