Search for text in images coming to OneDrive and Sharepoint in Office 365

If you’ve ever uploaded images that contain text and struggle to find them, Microsoft is working on a solution. Soon, users of OneDrive and Sharepoint in Office 365 will be able to perform a search and it will also search for text within images, rather than just the title or filename of an image.

Microsoft’s Seeing AI iPhone app now available in 35 markets including the European Union

Microsoft’s new iPhone app, Seeing AI, that is designed to assist those who are blind or partially sighted, is now available in 35 markets and the European Union. Initially launched in select countries in July, the app has been downloaded over 100,000 times, helping those using it to complete 3 million tasks.

Cortana is coming to Microsoft Launcher and Cheetah CM Launcher on Android

As Microsoft plans to bring “Cortana everywhere”, the company is teaming up with CM Launcher to bring Cortana to a popular Android launcher. Additionally, Cortana will also be arriving on Microsoft’s own Android launcher, Microsoft Launcher.
