Microsoft News app updates for iOS and Android with new regional options for readers

Microsoft’s free new curation app, Microsoft News, updated for both Android and iOS devices this past week.

This new update for both versions added additional region options for readers to help them properly customize their reading experience. The new region options added are Czech Republic (Czech), Hungary (Hungarian), and Marathi, Bengali, Telugu within India.

Here’s the release notes for this update:

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve added new editions – Czech Republic (Czech), Hungary (Hungarian) and more regional editions for India (Marathi, Bengali, Telugu). You can change your edition from the Settings page in the app.

This update brings the iOS Microsoft News app to Version 3.2.30 and the Android version to Version 19.354.01. These new region options should be available within your app as soon as the latest update is installed.

The previous Microsoft News app update added support for iOS' dark mode system settings.
