Today, Microsoft announced that Gavriella Schuster is the new Corporate Vice President (CVP) for Worldwide Partner Group (WPG). With more than two decades of experience at Microsoft, Schuster leaves her previous position as general manager for WPG. Schuster couldn’t be more excited by the promotion, adding:

“There has never been a more exciting time to help our partners capitalize on the explosive demand for cloud services. Our partners are vital in helping us deliver on our promise to customers, and I’m deeply committed to helping them build successful businesses in support of our mutual customers.”

While at Microsoft, Schuster initiated and managed several programs, including product licensing, pricing, and other market strategies. As a general manager for WPG, Schuster consistently produced significant business growth for Microsoft; from small businesses to global corporations.

Always focused on Microsoft’s partners, Schuster led the way for sales and marketing teams for the Server and Cloud business, Windows Client Commercial business, Enterprise Services, field business development, training initiatives, worldwide partner marketing and training strategies, and worldwide operations.

Gavriella Schuster succeeds Phil Sorgen, who recently took a new position as the corporate vice president of Microsoft’s US Enterprise and Partner Group. At the Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto, Schuster will share details about Microsoft’s new technology innovations, investments, and partnerships to help maximize business productivity and profit.
