Microsoft has updated its built-in app, Microsoft Movies and TV, with support for 360-degree video (via Aggiornamentilumia). This new feature is part of Microsoft’s Mixed Reality efforts in Windows 10, and will use a motion controller to be able to move around the 360-degree content.

Coming in at versionĀ 2019.17092.12811.0 the app delivers 360-degree content support, but also adds support for Windows Mixed Reality Motion Controllers, which are due to launch alongside Microsoft’s other Mixed Reality projects, such as headsets, on 17th October, 2017.

This update is available now for those on the Fast Ring, for both Windows 10 PC and Windows 10 Mobile.
