Earlier this month, a rumor hinted that Microsoft is planning to host an event on November 30th in New Delhi to introduce its latest flagship devices for the Indian market. It turns out the report was spot on, Microsoft has officially announced the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL in India.
The Lumia 950 carries a INR 43,699 price tag, while its bigger sibling, the Lumia 950, costs 49,399. The devices will hit the retail shelves in the country on December 11th, but customers interested in the handsets can pre-order them from Microsoft Priority Reseller stores, Reliance, Croma, and other retail locations in the region.
As a quick recap, the Lumia 950 boasts a 5.2-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage via microSD card slot. The device is also equipped with a 20MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing shooter, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Windows 10 Mobile.
On the other hand, the Lumia 950 XL comes with a 5.7-inch display sporting a 2560 by 1440 pixels resolution, Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage and a bigger 3,340 mAh battery. The camera module and operating system is the same as the Lumia 950.
