Announced back in February 2016, the Lumia 650 is up for pre-orders in Australia carrying an AU$299 with the officially availability date set to May 23rd (via CNET). The handset will be available from Microsoft Store as well as JB Hi-Fi, Big W, The Good Guys and Australian Post.
The Lumia 650 comes with midrange specifications, including a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor under the hoods. There’s 1 GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card, 8MP camera for photos and videos, a 2,000 mAh battery and ships with Windows 10 Mobile as its operating system.
Unfortunately, the device doesn’t support some of the most interesting features Windows 10 Mobile has to offer such as Continuum, and the ability to connect it to the Display Dock.
Nonetheless, it’s still a decent device for users who are looking for an entry-level handset. If you’re confused, you can check out our detailed review of the Lumia 650 and make up your mind.Further reading: Lumia 650, Microsoft, Windows 10 Mobile
