Earlier this month, Microsoft introduced the Lumia 640 and 640 XL at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Shortly after the announcement, T-Mobile confirmed they are going to offer the Lumia 640, but they didn’t reveal an exact availability date nor its price. However, it seems the wait may come to an end soon as the Magenta carrier has listed the handset on its website as “coming soon.”
The exact launch date or the pricing information is still not available, but since the product page is up one the carrier’s website, I’m sure it won’t take a long time to hit retail shelves.
As a quick recap, the handset boasts a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There’s a 2,500 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for long hours of usage, an 8MP camera, and will ship with Windows Phone 8.1+Lumia Denim.
Stay tuned to WinBeta, we’ll update you as soon as the handset goes up on sale at T-Mobile.Further reading: Lumia, Lumia 640, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Windows Phone
