Microsoft is working on a new update, which will allow users to use undo/redo commands in Microsoft Lists. The Microsoft 365 Roadmap indicates that the feature will start rolling out in mid-November.

As a part of this update, the company plans to release two important changes. The first new feature that the company highlighted today is the ability to use Undo and Redo buttons as users modify lists in grid view. These commands will be supported on the Lists app in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and the Lists experience in Microsoft Teams.

Undo - Redo

Furthermore, the upcoming Microsoft Lists update will add support for traditional keyboard shortcuts for performing undo and redo operations on both Mac and Windows machines. This experience should be similar to the one currently available in Microsoft Word.

The new undo and redo capabilities in Lists are one of the highly anticipated features since launch. It should make it easier for users to recover information or retract unwanted changes in their lists. As usual, these changes are will be rolled out in stages, so the feature is expected to be generally available by the end of December.
