Microsoft today launched the Lumia 638, its cheapest LTE-capable Windows Phone 8.1 handset in India today. The smartphone is available from official Microsoft Store on Amazon India for Rs 8,299 ($130).
As far as its specifications are concerned, the Nokia Lumia 638 comes with a 4.5-inch Clearblack LCD display with FWVGA (854×480). Underneath the device sits a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Also included is an 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
On the camera front, there’s 5-megapixel auto-focus camera at the rear, but sadly no front-facing camera. It packs in a 1,830mAh battery, and on the connectivity side it supports LTE, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi. The device runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan.
