Microsoft launches ExcelMashup.com, useful quick web apps

Microsoft has launched a brand new website which allows you to upload workbooks and make them into cool web applications to share on your website. The website uses a number of Microsoft’s products, such as Office Excel.

ExcelMashup.com is a new website by Microsoft which allows you to upload and share your workbooks on websites and more. First, you sign up for a skydrive account, then you upload your workbook, you then embed it on a website, and finally you can use the Excel services JavaScript library o create mashups.

There are a number of examples of what the site offers one demo app allow you to check how healthy your meal was, you can search the foods you ate, check their calories and compare. Simple.
