Microsoft Launcher 5.10 is now available to all Android users, after just spending a few days in beta testing. While those on Android 8 and below will only notice subtle improvements to dark mode for better readability and other general improvements, those running on Android 9 and above now have the option of setting their Launcher theme to match the phone’s system theme as set in the settings app.
Microsoft has been gradually working in bringing dark mode to its apps. Outlook mobile is the most recent app for Android to join the dark side, and OneDrive’s dark mode option is also in A/B testing at the moment.
Microsoft has been continuing to introduce new features to Microsoft Launcher to increase its capitalization on mobile devices, although rumor has it that it could be removing Cortana integration from the app in the coming months.
