Microsoft has released a new Microsoft Launcher v6 beta build for Android users (via Android Police), which brings a handful of new features along with numerous fixes to improve your home screen experience. The new version delivers a fresh look for the Microsoft Feed and a landscape mode support. Let’s dive into each of these additions in detail.

Some of the changes in this new beta build were originally introduced in the separate Microsoft Launcher preview app that has been rebuilt from scratch for Surface Duo. First off, Microsoft Launcher v6 brings the much-anticipated landscape orientation support, a welcome change for users who prefer to use their phones that way. Many other Android launchers already offer landscape mode support, so it’s nice to see the Microsoft Launcher finally catching up.

Another notable change is a redesigned Microsoft Feed which now features better spacing between the tiles/cards and a blurred background. Finally, the recent update brings a bunch of new wallpapers to brighten up your home screen. To access these wallpapers now, head over to the Microsoft Launcher settings, and then check the Bing and Microsoft folders to apply them.
