Microsoft: Kinect now uses much less Xbox 360 CPU power

The version of the Microsoft Kinect motion controller for the Xbox 360 that goes on sale tomorrow will use much less of the game system's processing power than has been reported, according to Alex Kipman, director of incubation at Microsoft. In a recent interview, Kipman said the controller's CPU usage is in the single-digit range.
