Microsoft issues update to Authenticator 4.1 beta on iOS

Microsoft keeps updating their iOS apps and now, Microsoft Authenticator Beta has been updated. As reported by Neowin, it brings the app to version 4.1.0. The app was released on 15 of August but the app lacked many basic functions like using a non-work/school account. This has been fixed in version 4.0.4.

Microsoft offers a beta program for those who want more features early.

Version 4.1.0 brings a new exciting feature actually. It has been present on other platforms for some time now and it is finally coming to iOS. When you try to log into your personal Microsoft account now, you will get a notification which you can approve without opening the app.

This update isn't available for everyone, however, but you can go ahead and send a mail to [email protected] requesting to be a part of the beta. If you get accepted, you can then go to the TestFlight app (link below) and update it from there.
