Microsoft is now shipping the Surface Pro LTE

Microsoft’s Surface Pro LTE was long available for business customers to purchase, but it’s now finally available for everyone else on the Microsoft Store. The device comes in one variant with an Intel Core i5 Processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage and onboard LTE connectivity powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X16 modem (via Windows Central.)

The Surface Pro LTE was announced last year during an event in Shanghai. Microsoft says the device is the fastest LTE-enabled laptop designed for “New Culture of Work.” In fact, the Surface Pro LTE has proven to be quite popular since it sold out when businesses were first able to pre-order.

Public pre-orders originally opened up back in March, so if you pre-ordered, the device should be shipping your way soon. You can check out our hands-on video with the Surface Pro LTE for more on what to expect once you finally get your shiny new Surface. Or you can buy the Surface Pro LTE by clicking here.
