The tool will essentially help learners get equitable education opportunities education that will help them gain strong literacy skills in these unprecedented times.
Furthermore, the tool will help learners develop fluent reading capabilities. Students can also gain access to personalized exercises from the tool that will help them brush up on their weak points as far as literacy skills are involved. The new feature will further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the current portfolio of tools such as Reading Progress and Immersive Reader, thus, making the learning curve seamless.
Reading Coach helps students identify their shortcomings, especially when it comes to the pronunciation of words. It then creates tailor-made assignments that provide the students with the opportunity to improve on these areas.
The main goal of this feature as highlighted in the report is to provide educators with an easier time during the learning process, in that, they get to focus on developing the students both emotionally and academically.
The Reading Process will also get an update to detect prosody, it essentially aids in the detection of patterns when expressing oneself as well as intonation.
