Microsoft to host the Cortana Intelligence Workshop this August

If you’re interested in machine learning, AI, or (maybe) Halo, Microsoft is holding an upcoming event for you. Called Cortana Intelligence Workshop 2016, the event is now open for registration, announces Microsoft on their TechNet blog.

This year’s Cortana Intelligence Workshop is happening at Microsoft’s campus in Redmond, WA, on August 30-31. The event will last for two days, during which participants will get to learn more technical knowledge from experts’ talks, get hands-on time at building intelligent data-driven apps, training and architectural guidance. There is also networking chances with data pros from hundreds of participating companies, as well as Microsoft’s own scientists and leaders in data.

At the event, Microsoft will be showcasing its Cortana Intelligence Suite big data and advanced analytics services, as well as other related technologies like Microsoft R Services, R Tools for Visual Studio, Power BI and more. Besides content dedicated to data scientists, developers and technical managers, Microsoft also promise cool things for business people, which you can check out at the event’s main page.
