We reported this morning that the Microsoft Health app on Android received a nifty update, adding in some new features to both the app and the Microsoft Band 2 fitness tracker-smartwatch hybrid. Now, Microsoft is pushing an update to Windows Phone users providing the same new feature set.

Here’s what you can expect following the update:

  • Track your weight using the Health app and Band 2
  • Share workout activities with friends
  • Create custom Guided Workouts and share them with fans as well
  • Enable a new GPS Power Save function to extend the battery by up to four hours during GPS activities
  • Tile Gallery Updates

We expect iOS to receive the update soon as well, and we’re only a little surprised that Android received the update before Microsoft’s own smartphone platform. In any event, hit update on your Windows 10 Mobile or Windows Phone 8.X device and start getting healthy.
