Microsoft has already revealed several cool Xbox One bundles this year in an attempt to attract more consumers to the console or tempt current Xbox One owners with a potential upgrade. The Xbox One bundles aren’t just basic console and game packages but rather pretty cool sets that come with a combination of a uniquely colored console, a specially designed controller, the new 1T Xbox One (an increase of 500GB from the standard model), special digital content, or all of the above.
To help sweeten the deal, Microsoft will also be giving away extra special bonuses at specific retailers in the U.S. throughout the month of November. There are notably better days to buy an Xbox One than others so it’s worth taking the time to plan accordingly. Here are all the details.
Between November 2nd and 5th, anyone who buys a new Xbox One will get an extra controller for free while anyone who buys an Xbox One bundle between the 6th and 8th will get an extra controller and an additional free game. Gamestop is also holding a special Xbox One trade-in deal that will reward customers with US$100 credit towards a new Xbox One from now to November 21st for anyone trading in their PS3 (120GB+) or Xbox 360 (250GB+).
Those who buys a new Xbox One at Best Buy between November 1st and 5th will get a US$50 Best Buy gift certificate while those who buy an Xbox One bundle on November 6th or 7th will be rewarded with the gift certificate and a free game valued up to US$59.99. Shoppers who buy an Xbox One bundle on November 8th will get the free Xbox One game.
Anyone who buys any new Xbox One between November 2nd and 5th will get the new Xbox One game, Mad Max for free. Mad Max will also be given away for free for anyone who buys an Xbox One bundle between the 6th and 8th.
Target will be giving anyone who purchases a new Xbox One between November 1st and 5th a US$50 Target gift card while those who buy an Xbox One bundle on the 6th or 7th will get the gift card as well as a free game. Like Best Buy, those who buy a bundle on the 8th will just get a free game.
Overall, these deals really do add a lot of value to the already impressive Xbox One bundle lineup and provide great value for money, especially when combined with the numerous extras in some of the bundles such as the Fallout 4 bundle which comes with both Fallout 4 and Fallout 3 in addition to a 14 day free trial of Xbox Live Gold. The Rise of the Tomb Raider bundle is also good value as it comes with both Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and this month’s Rise of the Tomb Raider.
