Microsoft fires two Bing marketing employees for violating procurement policy

Microsoft has today confirmed that the company has fired two Bing employees over the misuse of company funds. The two employees, Eric Hadley and Sean Carver were reportedly violating internal guidelines with vendors outside the company.

According to Microsoft, two Bing executives have today been fired for misusing company funds with outside vendors.

“We can confirm that as the result of an investigation, Eric Hadley and Sean Carver’s employment with Microsoft has been terminated for violation of company policies related to mismanagement of company assets and vendor procurement.”

Microsoft claims that the company found both employees violating internal guidelines with outside vendors. Hadley was a general manager and worlwider marketer for Bing, Carver acted as Bing’s advertising director.

Hadley and Carver are yet to respond to the issue.
