Microsoft expands their Seattle Ventures Accelerator program with 14 new start-ups

Microsoft expanded their Ventures Seattle Accelerator program with 14 new start-ups added today.

Back in December, Microsoft opened up the application process for the Seattle Accelerator program. After hundreds of applicants from across the U.S. applied, Sonal Mane, the U.S. Startup Programs Lead at Microsoft, began the arduous process of selection.

Out of the hundreds of inspiring innovators from various tech hubs that Sonal met with throughout North America, the program settled on 14 new start-ups. The selected start-ups will be joining as part of a 4-month accelerator program in Seattle.

The idea is that along with Microsoft’s help, these 14 start-ups will have the opportunity, expertise, resources and capital to bring their ideas to market. The program runs from March through July. Perhaps we may see some of these projects and partnerships in action around the Windows 10 reveal.
