Why is the share feature not working on Edge?

The shared features function on the Microsoft Edge browser can malfunction due to the following reasons:

  • App bug – Bugs are viruses or malware in the programming code of a software application that can cause an app not to function as intended. Thus, an app bug on Microsoft Edge can affect the share function and impede its performance.
  • Extension conflict – Installing third-party software apps that enhance the browser can affect the browser’s performance. Therefore, an incompatible extension software can affect the Microsoft Edge share features.

The reason listed above can cause the Microsoft Edge share function to malfunction, and it varies on different PCs.
