MoviesAnywhere (previously Disney MoviesAnywhere) is an online account of sorts that connects digital movie purchases across ecosystems. It currently connects to major players such as iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and Vudu and used to work with the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 devices and Xbox consoles until almost a year ago when the contract expired.
Three months ago, a Microsoft spokesperson did confirm that the company was in talks to renew MoviesAnywhere connectivity and, if this new information is true, it turns out that it could indeed be coming back soon.
