Pebble has come a long way since it launched the first Pebble Smartwatch following a successful Kickstarter campaign. As of December 2014, the company has sold its 1 millionth smartwatch. Unfortunately, the smartwatch doesn’t officially support Windows Phone.
Fortunately, Pebble users that own Android or iOS devices and rely on Microsoft services are in for some good news as the software giant has today confirmed that OneNote for Pebble is on its way.
In a Twitter response to a Pebble user that would love to have OneNote to-do lists on his watch, the OneNote team replied that a solution is “in the pipeline” and to stay tuned for more information. We don’t yet know when the app will be available but it doesn’t seem to be that far away, maybe even in time for the release of the new Pebble Time sometime in the June/July timeframe.
@bnystedt It’s definitely in the pipeline, stay tuned!

Are you an owner of a Pebble Smartwatch, which Microsoft services do you think would be great on a smartwatch? Let us know in the comments below.
UPDATE: Microsoft has reached out to us to clarify that the tweet was a mistake as the team thought @bnystedt was referring to wearables in general. The only officially supported smartwatches are the Apple Watch and Android Wear devices. The original tweet has been pulled.Further reading: Microsoft, OneNote, Pebble, smart watch
