New reports released over the last few days are suggesting that Microsoft has finally compiled the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, which is set to launch later this month. Build 8250 will be available to the public, and demoed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) on the 29th February 2012.
WinUnleaked are reporting today that Microsoft recently compiled the Windows 8 Consumer Preview at build 8250, this could be false so take it with a grain of salt. Currently, 8250 features pre-installed apps, access to the Windows Store, and many more improvements to the start screen and core.
After a long week of speculated rumours for the OS, Microsoft recently revealed a new logo which is set to launch in the Windows 8 Consumer Preview. The logo is said to change depending on how you customize your OS. Microsoft also revealed details about Windows on ARM, and how Office 15 is set to launch with it.
Microsoft is expected to unveil the Windows 8 Consumer Preview at this years Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The operating system will be available at 3PM GMT+1 time.Further reading: Microsoft, Windows 8
