Microsoft Bot Framework announced at Build 2016 for building intelligent machines

Microsoft’s Tay “intelligent bot” created a bit of a kerfuffle last week as it was trained by the Internet’s dark side to be racist, misogynist, and otherwise a downright ugly conversationalist. Nevertheless, Microsoft is forging on with making intelligent bots central to its strategy.

At Build 2016, Microsoft announced the Microsoft Bots Framework, which will allow developers to create their own intelligent bots. “Build and connect intelligent bots to interact with your users naturally wherever they are, from text/sms to Skype, Slack, Office 365 mail and other popular services.”
