Microsoft announced today that its Big Compute product team will attend the Siggraph 2016 Conference starting July 24 in Anaheim, California. If you’re not familiar with the event, Siggraph is an international conference and exhibition for computer and vision graphics, and Microsoft previously attended the 2014 edition to talk about the about the benefits of DirectX 12.

According to today’s blog post by the Azure team, Microsoft’s Big Compute product team will be there to highlight its partner ecosystem that leverages Azure to shift rendering and simulation workloads to the cloud. The team will showcase Azure’s N-Series Virtual Machines, which uses NVIDIA GPUS to provide visualization and compute capabilities in the cloud.

But that’s not all:

At the Microsoft booth we’ll also be talking about other recent announcements such as the availability of Avere on Microsoft Azure and showcase Azure capabilities such as our flagship HPC as a Service offering, Azure Batch, which helps customers scale to thousands of VMs for large scale rendering projects. Additionally, we’ll talk about how Azure is MPAA compliant. Some of our customers will also be sharing their experiences, such as Jellyfish Pictures who are a BAFTA award winning VFX studio based in London, bursting into Azure for their rendering needs, scaling up to tens of thousands of cores.

If you plan to attend the conference, you may visit Microsoft’s Big Compute product team at booth 843. Moreover, the team will also hold 2 exhibitor sessions:

  • “Why you should be rendering in the cloud” on Tuesday, July 26 at 2:00 PM at room 304C
  •  “Leveraging Microsoft’s Azure N-Series for Rendering Workloads and Visualization” on Wednesday July 27 at 10:30 AMat NVIDIA’s Theatre.
