WinBeta reader Michael (thanks!) gave us some welcome news this morning that should be of interest to all of you Band 2 fans waiting for your preorders to ship. Here’s what he had to say:
Just got the news from Microsoft Store that my Band 2 has shipped. It is being sent from DOUMEN, ZHUHAI, CN CN according to FedEx tracking. Unfortunately I’m not supposed to receive it until Monday 11/2.
In case you forgot, the Band 2 is Microsoft’s follow-up to their popular Band fitness tracker/smartwatch hybrid. The Band 2 brings along some nice upgrades, including a far more comfortable design, Gorilla Glass 3 to help avoid scratches, and a new sensor or two.
If you’ve been waiting patiently for your Band 2 to ship, then perhaps your wait is almost over (and it’s a little earlier than expected, actually). It’s not an overnight shipment, but seeing your new toy… er, health and fitness tool… making its move across the Pacific should at least provide a modicum of relief.
